About The Author
I’ve been losing myself in books since my grandmother introduced me to Winnie-the-Pooh when I was seven-years-old. She was a school teacher, a mother to 8 children, and someone who enjoyed encouraging her loved ones to excel. I spent the summers with her and my grandfather, and she would often invite me to sit beside her in bed so that we could share a book. Even now, I can smell her scent—a mixture of cigarettes and Chloe perfume. And I remember wanting to make her proud.
